About

Location and Purpose Trigyn's direct government client has an immediate need for a Software Architect in Albany, NY. Responsibilities Work with teams to modernize data cleaning and transformation processes using version control and collaborative repositories. Design, build and maintain data ingestion pipelines in the Cloud. Partner with manager to make critical decisions about technology infrastructure and components. Ensure performance, scalability, security, and maintainability in all DE projects. Build automated tests and validation processes. Guide development teams, mentor engineers, and provide technical direction throughout product life cycle. Create high‑level specifications and design documents for the team to follow. Follow department‑level and division‑level directives, best practices, standards, and methodologies as appropriate or requested. Minimum Qualifications Make high‑level design choices and dictate technical standards, including software coding standards, tools, and platforms; design multi‑level architecture or component interactions of a large‑scale software system. Have extensive industry experience; considered at the top of his/her field with ability to guide large teams. 84 months experience in designing and implementing scalable cloud‑based web applications using AWS. 84 months experience with analysis of complex business rules, workflow processes, and re‑engineering business processes. 84 months experience with data processing and analysis using Python on Linux platform. 72 months experience writing transformations with Informatica Data Quality (IDQ) or similar ETL tool. 72 months experience with relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., Oracle, Postgres, MongoDB, DynamoDB, etc.) containing large amounts of data (greater than 10 million rows). 72 months experience authoring a complete set of technical documentation.
