What You’ll Work On:
Building user interfaces for internal simulation tools
Designing agent-based workflows to automate engineering tasks
Developing parallel computing workflows to improve simulation throughput
You gain direct exposure to complex, real-world problems at the intersection of software engineering and semiconductor device physics — challenges that often don’t have straightforward solutions.
What We’re Looking For: Most importantly, you are someone who:
Is genuinely curious about semiconductor manufacturing
Is comfortable working in a fast-moving environment where methods and tools are still evolving
Has a strong interest in applying cutting‑edge AI tools to engineering problems. You don’t need to have done all this before – we’re looking for someone who is excited to learn and dive in!
Required Qualifications:
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related field
Junior standing or above (3rd year+)
Strong academic record; 3.5 GPA or higher preferred
Ability to work independently and manage tasks with minimal supervision
Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to collaborate across disciplines and teams
Preferred Experience: Strong candidates will have hands‑on experience in at least one of the following:
CAD modeling
Physics-based simulation
Parallel/distributed computing
Bonus: a portfolio project or demo (web app, simulation tool, or similar) that you can walk us through
Hourly Rate: $35‑$50 per hour based on experience
