3-5 years of veterinary management experience preferred but not required Supervisory and leadership experience in a service-based environment Veterinary hospital or practice experience with increasing responsibility strongly valued Bachelor's degree in business or related field preferred Leadership & Communication
Ability to build accountability, trust, and team engagement Strong coaching, mentoring, and delegation skills Excellent conflict resolution and interpersonal abilities High emotional intelligence and professional presence Clear and effective communication, written and verbal Positive, collaborative approach with staff and clients Consistent, steady leadership style Operations & Organization
Workflow optimization and process implementation Scheduling, staffing, and labor management Inventory control and vendor coordination Excellent time management, prioritization, and flexibility Ability to lead teams through change and stabilize processes Intermediate computer skills (Microsoft Office) and ability to learn practice management software Financial & Business Acumen
Budgeting and P&L oversight KPI monitoring and performance improvement Revenue growth and cost management Payroll, pricing, and accounts receivable familiarity Ideal Qualifications
CVPM certification (or equivalent leadership training) Experience improving retention and team culture Passion for developing veterinary professionals Benefits
