What You'll Do
Perform high-quality MRI scans on Phillips Achieva and Siemens 1.5 T Sola equipment Assist with scans involving implanted devices, ensuring patient safety and compliance Collaborate with radiology team members to deliver accurate imaging Utilize PACS systems such as Cerner, Unity PACS, and Interview PACS for image management Maintain patient comfort and communicate effectively throughout procedures Adhere to all safety protocols and quality standards during imaging Contribute to department workflow and handle floating between Olathe and Miami County locations as needed
What You Need Required:
ARMRIT certification or ARRT (MR) plus BLS At least 2 years of MRI technologist experience within hospital settings Experience with Phillips Achieva MRI scanner and implanted device scanning Minimum 1-year travel or agency experience preferred
Preferred:
Strong technical skills and ability to work independently Excellent communication and patient care skills
About the Assignment Join a dedicated radiology team at a prominent healthcare facility in Kansas, providing weekend MRI services across multiple campus locations. This position offers a competitive hourly rate, flexible scheduling, and the opportunity to work with advanced imaging technology. Orientation will be conducted on-site at the KU Main Campus and Olathe Campus, ensuring you're fully prepared to deliver exceptional patient imaging services.
