Job DescriptionJob Title: Safety Coordinator Location: Saint Cloud, MN Compensation: $24.95 per hour - paid weekly Schedule: 2nd Shift | Monday- Friday | 2:00pm- 10:00pm Job Type: Temp-to-Hire | Full-timeAbout the Opportunity Doherty Staffing Solutions is hiring a Safety Coordinator for a manufacturing company in St. Cloud, MN. In this role, you'll help maintain a safe work environment by preventing injuries, supporting compliance, and training employees on best practices. If you enjoy hands-on safety work, problem-solving, and making a direct impact on workplace safety, this could be a great fit.What You'll Do as a Safety Coordinator: Diagnose and treat workplace injuries and illnesses in accordance with accepted practices and company policies Monitor and recommend injury prevention programs and continuous safety improvements Conduct workplace inspections to identify hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations Train and coach employees on proper safety procedures and use of PPE Perform industrial hygiene testing, record keeping, and follow-up activities Support safety and HR initiatives, including administrative tasks and monthly safety committee meetings Assist with additional duties such as maintenance temperature checks and filling in for other roles as needed What You Need to Bring to the Safety Coordinator Role: Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) Strong attention to safety, detail, and compliance standards Ability to work overtime and be on-call on weekends as assigned Reliable attendance in compliance with company guidelines Ability to perform inspections, documentation, and follow established procedures Previous safety or industrial environment experience preferred Why You'll Like Working with Doherty Staffing Solutions Enjoy weekly pay, access to health coverage options through Benefits in a Card (including preventative and minimum value plans), and opportunities for long-term stability.
