Facilitating surgical procedures by setting up and maintaining the operating room environment Upholding sterile fields and following strict infection control measures Assisting surgeons and surgical teams with the necessary instruments and supplies Overseeing and organizing surgical equipment pre, during, and post-surgery Monitoring inventory to ensure readiness and availability for all operations Working closely with nurses, anesthesiologists, and other surgical personnel to provide comprehensive care Keeping accurate records and counts of all surgical items used Education Requirements:
Completion of a recognized Surgical Technology program High school diploma or equivalent required Certifications Needed:
Active CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) certification required BLS certification (or ability to attain within 90 days of starting) Key Skills and Attributes:
