About
Assess individuals across pediatric, adult, and geriatric demographics utilizing standardized evaluations and observational insights. Craft tailored treatment plans that encompass immediate goals while addressing overarching communication, cognitive, or swallowing objectives. Conduct individualized speech therapy sessions focusing on communication, language skills, fluency, voice modulation, and swallowing facilitation. Collaborate seamlessly with physical therapists, occupational therapists, nursing staff, physicians, caregivers, and families to forge unified care approaches. Provide essential educational resources to patients and families to encourage progress beyond the clinical environment. Engage in occasional inpatient speech therapy evaluations and interventions to ensure continuous and quality care along the patient journey. Keep meticulous and timely documentation that meets state, federal, and organizational standards. Remain at the forefront of the profession through continual education and collaboration with peers. Education
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a recognized institution. Successful completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not yet ASHA-certified. Certifications
State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist. Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within the first month of employment. Skills
