Carry out thorough patient evaluations, order relevant diagnostic tests, and develop tailored care protocols Identify and manage acute, chronic, or episodic health issues either in partnership with physicians or autonomously, depending on credentialing Guide patients and their families on preventive care, wellness practices, and effectively managing diseases Prescribe appropriate medications and therapies within your scope of practice Engage in chronic care management and patient follow-ups Work collaboratively within interdisciplinary teams to provide seamless, holistic patient care Document patient interactions comprehensively using electronic medical records (EMR) Qualifications
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) Completion of a certified Nurse Practitioner program Licensure and Certifications
Active Nurse Practitioner license in Texas National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or an equivalent in your specialty Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (or the ability to obtain within 90 days) Essential Skills
Exceptional clinical judgment coupled with a warm, empathetic approach Strong communication abilities with patients, their families, and the healthcare team Flexibility and resilience in a busy, patient-focused environment Familiarity with electronic medical record systems and comfort using telehealth technologies A collaborative spirit and a commitment to providing evidence-based care What Awaits You in This Role
