About
Conduct comprehensive evaluations for children, adults, and seniors utilizing both standardized assessments and observational methods. Design individualized treatment plans that encompass immediate objectives and overarching communication, cognitive, or swallowing goals. Implement personalized speech therapy sessions targeting communication, language, fluency, voice, and swallowing difficulties. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physical and occupational therapists, nurses, medical staff, caregivers, and families to develop comprehensive care plans. Educate patients and their families to facilitate progress beyond therapy sessions. Participate in occasional inpatient evaluations and interventions, ensuring consistent care throughout the rehabilitation journey. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with state, federal, and organizational mandates. Commit to ongoing learning and professional development through continued education and collaboration with peers. Education
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution. Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) for those not yet ASHA-certified. Certifications
State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist. Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire. Skills
