About

Ignite the Power of Communication in the Heartland - Become a Speech Language Pathologist with UsOverview Imagine stepping into a role where every interaction fuels purpose - literally! As a Speech Language Pathologist in one of Nebraska's charming cities, your contributions will transcend mere treatment of speech and swallowing challenges. You'll be a vital part of a journey that unlocks possibilities, rekindles self-worth, and forges meaningful connections - guiding children in their first conversations and empowering elders to reclaim their voices. This role presents a distinctive chance to support individuals spanning all ages within a fluid environment that merges outpatient interventions with occasional inpatient care. Whether your enthusiasm lies with pediatric speech milestones, neurogenic disorders in adults, or cognitive-linguistic rehabilitation for seniors, you will discover satisfaction and adaptability in your work life here. What You Will Do
Assess patients from diverse age groups, employing both standardized tests and observational methods. Craft tailored treatment plans aimed at fulfilling immediate objectives as well as long-term communication, cognitive, or swallowing needs. Deliver personalized speech therapy focused on language, fluency, voice, and swallowing. Collaborate closely with physical therapists, occupational therapists, nursing staff, physicians, caregivers, and families to develop unified care strategies. Provide education to patients and their families to foster progress beyond therapy sessions. Engage in occasional inpatient evaluations and interventions in speech therapy, ensuring continuity and quality of care throughout the healing process. Maintain precise and timely documentation in accordance with state, federal, and organizational standards. Keep abreast of the latest developments in the field via ongoing education and collaborative peer engagement. Qualifications
A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution. Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not ASHA-certified. Licenses and Certifications
State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist. Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA is preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within the first month of employment. Attributes We Seek
Expertise in evidence-based treatment methodologies for individuals of all ages, comprehensively understanding speech, language, and swallowing disorders. Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with patients, families, and interdisciplinary colleagues. Flexibility in adapting therapeutic techniques to cater to varied cultural and linguistic backgrounds. Robust clinical judgment and problem-solving capabilities. Adeptness with electronic medical records and documentation protocols. Why You Will Love This Opportunity
Attractive compensation package based on experience. Flexible work hours for a satisfying work-life balance with diverse patient loads. Specialization opportunities in pediatrics, adult neurological rehabilitation, or geriatrics. Generous paid time off (PTO) and holiday pay. Options for medical, dental, vision, and life insurance benefits. Support for ongoing education and professional development. A collaborative, team-focused work culture centered on quality care and lifelong learning.
A Career That Inspires and Transforms In joining our team, you will not just provide prescribed speech therapy; you will engage in a community-focused mission dedicated to fostering communication, bridging connections, and creating joyful moments through the fundamental human experience of understanding. Work alongside compassionate professionals who prioritize teamwork over rivalry, in an environment that facilitates genuine collaboration. We value each patient's individual journey and rely on your expertise to craft their narrative.
