Supervision Exercised: None. Typical Physical Demands: Requires prolonged standing or sitting while working in an office environment. Requires some bending or stretching. Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard, photocopier, telephone, and other office equipment. Typical Working Conditions: Normal office environment. ResponsibilitiesCompile, distribute daily coding status reports and production statics weekly Assist in the completion of non-coding reports and tasks Work departmental reports to identify any misdirected, unassigned, or uncoded encounters
Create, Coordinate, and distribute coding departmental communication as needed Manage administrative tasks as provided by departmental leadership Maintains patient confidentiality Performs related work as required or needed Location & commitments Full-time remote role headquartered at our Greenville Arlington Blvd. location, Monday-Friday, hours to be determined. Overtime may be required to ensure departmental needs are met. Candidate requirements General healthcare or related experience. General knowledge of medical coding, insurance, and billing. Five years of Front desk coordinator or similar experience in a healthcare environment. Organization and good communication required. Use of .MS Office will be required. Education: High School Diploma, Additional education considered in lieu of experience.
