Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) - 13-week travel nurse contract in Ontario, Oregon (97914). Seeking experienced L&D RNs with BLS to deliver exceptional obstetrics, maternal-newborn, and fetal monitoring care on 12-hour night shifts.

Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,000 - $2,100

Contract Duration: 13 weeks (July 20, 2025 - October 18, 2025)
Shift: 12 Hour Nights (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)
Hours per Week: 36

On-Site Position
Job Requirements Active RN license (Labor & Delivery specialty required)
Minimum 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery RN experience (OB nursing, maternal-newborn care)
Current BLS certification
Ability to work 12-hour night shifts
Compliance with onboarding requirements (background check, health screenings, competency testing)
Primary Responsibilities Provide compassionate, patient-centered care to mothers and newborns throughout labor, delivery, and postpartum
Continuous fetal monitoring and interpretation of fetal heart tracings (electronic fetal monitoring/EFM)
Monitor patient vitals, maternal assessment, and newborn transition
Assist with deliveries and support physicians and midwives during labor and birth
Administer medications, IV therapy, and follow physician orders as needed
Educate patients and families on postpartum care, breastfeeding, and newborn health
Maintain accurate documentation, charting, and uphold patient confidentiality and safety standards
