Hours are flexible and shifts may be any day during the week, including mornings, afternoons, and evenings.
PurposeUT Parking and Transportation Services (PTS) operates a bicycle retail shop on campus. The shop, located in a small trailer near GRE, offers a variety of bicycle parts and accessories to students, staff, faculty, and campus visitors. PTS understands that as a student, your first obligation is to your education we will accommodate your schedule.
Responsibilities- The employee will set up a table on Speedway between GRE and SAC to sell bicycle parts, safety equipment and accessories.
- Must be dependable, responsible and have regular availability
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
- Must be enrolled and meet enrollment eligibility at The University of Texas at Austin
- Customer service skills are a plus
- Bicycle parts and bicycle accessories knowledge is a plus
- The ability to adapt in a dynamic work environment
$15/hour
Working Conditions- Keyboard
- Use of manual dexterity
- May work in all weather conditions, including inclement and extreme weather
- Some heavy lifting and moving
- May work around loud noises and crowds of people
- Spring 2026 ongoing
- Work to be performed in-person, on campus.
- 15-20 hours per week.
