About

Senior Software Engineer, Systems Design. You will be highly proficient in designing, building, and implementing end-to-end distributed systems, with a strong emphasis on system architecture, observability, and integration rather than purely feature development or routine maintenance. Youll have deep systems-design expertise, including the ability to reason about component coupling, data flow, synchronisation, and failure modes. Every feature is shipped directly to production through CI/CD pipelines, deployed across global Kubernetes clusters on AWS EKS and managed via GitOps practices. The team develops AI-driven services using large language models (LLMs), integrating them into core workflows (RAG, orchestration, and inference pipelines) while maintaining low-latency and high-reliability SLAs. Youll work in a forward-thinking engineering environment using Cursor as the primary IDE, tightly integrated with Claude AI for intelligent code generation, refactoring, and automated test-suite augmentation. Salary €90,000 - €100,000 with bonus and benefits Location: Dublin City Working model: Hybrid , 2-3 days per week onsite Essential technical skill-set You must be a Senior Software Engineer Fluent English The ability and desire to influence others and bring in best practices are essential. 5+ years of production-grade Node.js (NestJS / Fastify) and TypeScript. API development: Designed and implemented REST/GraphQL APIs. Databases: Schema design and optimization . SQL tuning and indexing strategies (PostgreSQL strongly preferred; MySQL/SQLite acceptable) Strong Test automation - you believe in it Cloud infrastructure: Hands-on with AWS EKS Kubernetes for production workloads Container-first: Production systems deployed exclusively as containerised workloads on AWS EKS Kubernetes clusters (no standalone VMs) Skills: node.js nestjs kubernetes aws Benefits: Work From Home bonus
