We are recruiting for Project Manager and Site Manager on a commercial solar installion project in Cork. Our Client is Irelands leading provider of renewable energy solutions through innovation, pushing the boundaries in sustainable self-sufficiency for commercial and industrial sectors, benefiting future generations. Key Duties & Responsibilities: Oversee daily operations on solar project sites, ensuring compliance with safety protocols, quality, and project specifications. Maintain accurate and up-to-date site PSCS documentation. Implement, maintain, and enforce good on-site QEHS practices. Lead and manage a team of installers, technicians, and subcontractors. Collaborate with the procurement department to guarantee the prompt delivery of materials to the site in accordance with the established work schedule. Ensure project milestones are achieved by all parties by maintaining consistent communication with all relevant parties. Establish and uphold quality control measures to ensure installation and maintenance of systems align with industry standards. Ensure all safety procedures are followed and conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and address any issues that may arise. Identify risks, issues, and actions throughout the life cycle of the project. Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify and address any quality issues promptly. Ensure all communication is fully documented in line with project implementation methodology. Manage site issues/objections through to their resolution. Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project reports, schedules, and correspondence. Provide guidance and support to ensure that all team members work efficiently and safely. Work closely and report to the Project Manager and senior management ensuring clear communication. Flexibility to travel and overnight as required is a must. Assist in any other duties which may encompass the role. Work to KPIs. Experience & Qualifications: Electrical background/trade or relevant industry experience is essential. Previous site supervision/management experience is required (minimum 2+ years of site management). Safe pass, manual handling, MEWP, first aid, confined space, abrasive wheels, hot works, and working at height certifications are advantageous. Roofing, scaffolding, PSCS experience is beneficial. Strong organizational skills with a proven ability to meet tight deadlines. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to liaise effectively with key decision-makers. Ability to prioritize and manage your time and workload. High degree of accuracy required in detail and presentation. Proactive approach to innovation and problem-solving. Full clean driving license. Knowledge of Irish construction requirements, particularly around EHS. Knowledge of renewable energy systems such as Solar PV, wind turbines, biomass boilers is advantageous.
