Systems Engineer
to join our growing BlueArmor team in Charlotte, NC. This is a
senior Tier 3 technical role
designed for someone who takes ownership of their work, thrives in a
fast-paced environment , and is ready to grow into a future leadership position. As part of a high-performing
Managed Services Provider (MSP)
team, you’ll lead key initiatives—from migrations and automation to infrastructure modernization, AI consulting, and client success—while serving as a senior technical escalation point and mentor for the engineering team. This role is ideal for someone who can effectively manage multiple initiatives simultaneously,
execute with urgency and excellence , and still think strategically about long-term departmental growth, standards, and scalability. We’re looking for a leader in training—someone who naturally elevates the team around them and wants to help shape the future of the department. What You Bring 5+ years
in an MSP or multi‑client IT services environment 5+ years
administering and supporting
Windows Server, Entra ID, Microsoft 365, Azure, VDI , and core networking 5+ years
configuring, managing, and troubleshooting
firewalls
(Meraki, Fortinet, SonicWall, WatchGuard, etc.) Strong proficiency with
PowerShell , automation, scripting, and process improvement Hands‑on experience with
RMM platforms
(ConnectWise, NinjaRMM, Datto RMM, or similar) Advanced troubleshooting capability with proven
Tier 3 escalation
experience Demonstrated
project management
ability — able to scope, plan, sequence, and deliver technical projects with clear communication and consistent follow‑through Excellent communication, organization, and client‑facing skills Security‑first mindset
with strong attention to risk, compliance, and best‑practice implementation Leadership qualities including mentoring, accountability, and elevating team performance Experience leveraging Microsoft Copilot and AI‑driven tooling
to improve efficiency, documentation quality, troubleshooting speed, and client outcomes Nice‑to‑Have Industry certifications (A+, Network+, Security+, Microsoft, Azure, etc.) Tools & Technologies Copilot • Windows Server • Azure • Entra ID • Microsoft 365 • VDI • Meraki • Fortinet • SonicWall • WatchGuard • PowerShell • Power Automate • RMM (Ninja, ConnectWise, Datto) • Endpoint Security • Networking • AI Automation What You’ll Do Lead and execute multiple technical projects with strong communication, ownership, and follow‑through Support presales conversations and provide technical expertise during prospect discussions Guide clients through AI consulting, workflow automation, and emerging technology adoption Manage infrastructure across Windows Server, networks, firewalls, storage, and VDI Design and deploy security solutions (firewalls, endpoint protection, identity, access) Automate and streamline workflows using PowerShell, RMM scripting, and AI platforms Serve as Tier 3 escalation for complex issues; mentor Tier 1–2 engineers Collaborate directly with clients to ensure clarity, confidence, and exceptional service Identify opportunities for automation, standardization, and proactive service delivery Contribute to long‑term technical strategy, operational maturity, and department growth Why Join BlueArmor Clear
