divh2Cashier Position at Natures Wonders/h2pThe cashier will assist customers during and after the checkout process at Natures Wonders./ph3Essential Functions/h3ulliGreets all customers when arriving and leaving the store./liliRemains alert, friendly and ready to assist at all times./liliPerforms all processes and functions of the point-of-sale system/liliEnsure the checkout counters is never left unattended./liliRemains diligent to keep money organized, count change correctly, insure accuracy of transactions and that checks are filled out properly with all required information (correct amounts, phone number, drivers license number)/liliKeeps checkout area clean and organized./liliKnows all discounts the store offers./liliRemains aware of customer accounts, applying discounts, punch cards, etc./liliBags product efficiently and accommodating customer wishes./liliTakes special orders and requests./liliAnswers the phone./liliFinds jobs to stay busy between customers./liliAssists with barista duties as needed./liliAll other duties as assigned./li/ulh3Knowledge, Skills, and Ability/h3ulliExcellent organization skills and attention to details./liliExperience in a customer service environment./liliExcellent verbal and written communication skills./liliAdaptability to new processes and procedures./liliExcellent self-motivation and initiative while unsupervised./li/ulh3Physical Requirements/h3ulliMust be able to lift up to 25 pounds at one time./liliThe ability to move freely around your workspace./liliSitting, standing, squatting, kneeling, bending, crawling, and climbing may be necessary physical requirements for this position./li/ulh3Independent Judgement/h3ulliPerforms tasks and duties under direct supervision, using well-defined policies and procedures. Work is reviewed by supervisor.
