The Technical Trainer will demonstrate a deep history of technical enablement with partner representatives and clients; working alongside sales engineers, regional sales managers, business development managers and product managers to coordinate with the various teams to provide and coordinate pre‑sales support throughout the entire sales cycle.
The Trainer will deliver high‑impact training programs and will focus on educating partners and customers on a wide range of solutions, including Mobile Access, Cloud Offerings and other technical solutions. The ideal candidate will be passionate about technical education, comfortable with hardware and software environments, and skilled at translating complex concepts into engaging learning experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Design and Deliver Training:
Create and facilitate engaging training sessions in person, virtually, and through blended formats, with a focus on complex solutions, including hands‑on labs and simulations.
Collaborate with sales and product leadership to assess needs and implement tailored training strategies.
Track and evaluate training effectiveness using KPIs, performance metrics, and feedback.
Customize content for different audiences including sales engineers, installers, and end‑users.
Continuously enhance training content by staying informed on industry trends and adult learning best practices.
Create and maintain training materials, including presentations, manuals, and e‑learning modules.
Collaborate with product teams to ensure training content reflects the latest product updates and best practices.
Certification and Evaluation:
Support Academy certification programs and track learner progress.
Evaluate training effectiveness and continuously improve delivery methods.
Technical Expertise:
Stay current with Access Control Technologies, including new products and new industry standards.
Provide guidance on troubleshooting and configuration.
Qualifications
3+ years of experience in technical training, preferably in physical access control or identity management.
Strong understanding of ecosystem including Mobile Access, controllers, and OSDP.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Remote role – Must have ability to travel domestically up to 50% of the time with periodic international travel.
