Lead Mechanical Engineer (Milan) We are currently recruiting for a Lead Mechanical Engineer to work for a Tier 1 M&E Contractor on a large Date Centre Project in Milan, Italy. They will be responsible for planning, managing and coordinating all mechanical engineering and commissioning activities on assigned projects. Responsibilities Lead and manage mechanical engineering, design management, and commissioning activities Ensure compliance with EHS, quality, and company engineering procedures Coordinate procurement support including technical reviews, RFQs, and subcontract scopes Oversee system design reviews, equipment selection, technical submittals, and BIM coordination Manage testing, commissioning, FATs, SATs, and system walkdowns Track system completion, snags, documentation, and O&M deliverables Requirements Third-level qualification in Mechanical or Building Services Engineering 7+ years relevant experience, including 3+ years in a lead or managerial role Experience in data centre and/or pharmaceutical projects preferred Strong technical leadership and problem-solving capability An EU Passport is essential Benefits Salary €80,000 - €100,000 DOE.
