About

Role Overview Whatnot is a leading livestream shopping platform. We are looking for interns to join us for a 12–16 week remote internship during Fall 2025. Interns work in cross-functional, multidisciplinary teams and directly impact our platform. They code and contribute on complex technical challenges that shape future engineering initiatives.
Responsibilities
Build new features for users in our live-stream experience.
Implement growth tactics and strategies to scale buyer and seller flows.
Build systems at scale that help deliver a high‑trust marketplace experience.
Qualifications
Enrolled in a computer science or related major, graduating December 2025 or by Summer 2026.
Some industry software engineering experience.
Problem‑solver and out‑of‑the‑box thinker.
Willing to take risks and build product and systems for 1 M+ users.
Fast learner, quickly picking up new technologies.
Benefits
$150 /month dogfooding budget.
