About
Occasionally provide legal support to other Business Units of DSD
Establish effective collaborative working relationships with the BU- and Site Leadership Teams, Business Management, Sales, Operations, Quality and other functions, to provide timely advice on commercial/business/compliance legal matters as they arise
Collaborate with the PSG Contracting and Functional Counsel as needed
Provide ongoing advice and support principally related to biopharmaceutical manufacturing contracts, commercial, supplier and sourcing contracts, proposals, SOWs, etc. including the drafting and review of such contracts
Provide guidance on a range of legal, regulatory and compliance matters, including, pharmaceutical manufacturing (FDA and other agencies, cGMP, etc.), products liability, trade compliance, products liability, anti-bribery, and data privacy
Provide advice as required to supply chain/sourcing, esp. regarding liability gaps and chains, from vendor to client
Ensure that Large Molecule conducts its business in compliance with applicable laws and regulations and Thermo Fisher policies and guidelines
Provide advice regarding customer and other commercial/business complaints and disputes (client- and vendor facing)
Assist and support the Division Lead Counsel on strategic projects of the Division/BU, as assigned
Other duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree and Juris Doctorate required (or equivalent working experience)
A strong background in Commercial Contract Management experience gained in a fast paced, cross functional working environment
Ideally has experience gained from pharmaceutical, or related industry or similar contract manufacturing solution provider) or within a manufacturing environment but not essential
Customer centric approach in supporting both external and internal clients while protecting the best interest of the company
Confirmed negotiation abilities and business sense
Ability to deliver strong results with limited resources with a high degree of accuracy, in a fast-paced intense environment
Excellent leadership, management, and interpersonal skills, experienced in team building
Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently
Self-motivated and require minimal direction to meet goals and objectives

Travel is estimated 10-15%
