About
This role involves dealing with vulnerable clients and their finances to ensure their financial commitments are met, and the effective administration this involves to ensure accuracy and financial security. This can include the payment of household bills, debts and dealing with ad hoc requests for funding from the client. This will therefore involve strong communication and financial administration skills.
Responsibilities
Supporting vulnerable people to meet their financial commitments
Dealing with queries from clients, social workers and other interested parties regarding personal finances including household bills, rent or personal allowance
Ensuring that financial records are appropriately maintained for audit purposes
We are looking for 2 candidates with experience of working in a financial and administrative background who are able to adapt quickly and effectively to constantly changing priorities to ensure that all responsibilities within the role are completed effectively. This will be a candidate who can think on their feet and put themselves in the customers shoes to make financial decisions on their behalf.
Please note that of those 2 roles, 1 position is permanent, and the other is a fixed term contract of 7 months. If you are selected for interview, you will be asked whether you wish to be considered for both roles, or just the permanent role.
Candidates should have experience dealing with customers, preferably those who are vulnerable on a 1 to 1 basis and are comfortable with an ever changing workload where no two days are the same.
