A skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility in Queens, NY is seeking a Cook to join our team.

Duties:

Prepare, cook, and serve a variety of meals
Bake rolls, cookies, cakes, and pies
Assist with tray line service during meal times
Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas
Wash and sanitize pots and pans
Perform additional duties as assigned

Requirements:

Certification in healthcare cooking (e.g., ServSafe or equivalent)
At least one (1) year of large-scale cooking experience
Knowledge of therapeutic and large-scale food preparation
Ability to perform physical tasks as needed
Strong teamwork skills
High School Diploma or equivalent
Good customer service and communication abilities
Ability to oversee kitchen operations in the absence of a supervisor
