What This Role Entails

As our Inside Sales Representative - Large Ag, you will:

  • Engage with new and existing customers to understand their needs
  • Educate customers on our full lineup of products and services
  • Proactively reach out to prospects and follow up on leads
  • Collaborate closely with outside sales, parts, and service teams
  • Use your knowledge of John Deere and competitive equipment to recommend solutions
  • Support customers with technology, equipment upgrades, and operation-improving tools
  • Stay informed on incentive programs, promotions, and financing options

Every day brings new opportunities to build relationships, close deals, and help customers succeed in the field.

What We Need From You
  • Knowledge of current agricultural issues
  • Flexibility to work varied hours and some weekends
  • Ability to safely operate, mount/dismount, hook up, secure, and transport equipment
  • Ability to sit, stand, squat, and lift up to 40 lbs
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills
  • Strong math and computer skills
Preferred (but not required):
  • A few years of account management or direct sales experience (especially ag equipment)
  • Bachelor's degree in business or an agricultural field
  • Willingness to train motivated candidates with the right mindset
