About
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Perform systems administration of desktop and server systems connected to local and wide area networks, including account monitoring, security, OS installation, and other local area system administration functions.
Provide support for implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems.
Participate in developing and delivering training as requested by the government to support applications.
Review documentation for completeness and accuracy; present IV&V results; troubleshoot technical issues; and recommend quality improvements.
Provide day-to-day operational support for IT systems, including monitoring and problem resolution for client/server/storage/network and mobile devices.
Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution.
Provide support for the escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers.
Provide support for the dispatch of system and hardware issues and remain involved through resolution.
Configure and manage UNIX and Windows operating systems.
Install and load operating system and application software.
Isolate and resolve hardware and software problems involving the applications, the operating system, the hardware, the communications infrastructure, or any combination thereof.
Troubleshoot, maintain integrity of, and configure network components; implement operating system enhancements to improve reliability and performance.
Integrate new technologies into new and existing systems, including the transition and migration of corporate systems.
Required Qualifications
Active TS/SCI with CI Polygraph.
DoD 8570 compliant at IA Technical (IAT) Level II and IA Management (IAM) Level II.
Experience supporting systems under DoD/DIA RMF.
Understanding of Linux (CentOS) environments.
Understanding of Oracle environments.
Expert working knowledge of system administration interdependencies within a Service Oriented Architecture (SOA).
Preferred Qualifications
IC experience preferred.
10+ years program/application ops experience preferred.
Strong prioritization/analytical skills.
Strong risk management, communication, teamwork, conflict management.
