About
Provide rapid and comprehensive nursing assessments, interventions, and evaluations for diverse patient populations presenting with urgent and emergent conditions, from minor illness to critical trauma.
Implement and manage care plans for acutely ill or injured patients, demonstrating expertise in emergency procedures, cardiac monitoring, wound care, and medication administration in a fast-paced setting.
Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians, specialists, paramedics, and support staff, to coordinate seamless patient flow and optimize treatment outcomes.
Educate patients and their families on immediate care needs, discharge instructions, and follow-up plans, ensuring understanding and promoting patient self-management after an ED visit.
Maintain readiness for various emergency situations, including mass casualty incidents, critical resuscitations, and rapid response activations, exhibiting adaptability and sound clinical judgment.
Adhere to strict safety protocols, infection control measures, and documentation standards specific to the Emergency Department, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and best practices.
THIS JOB OFFERS BOTH AN INCENTIVE AND RELOCATION: We are offering a $17,500 Sign-On Bonus in addition to relocation to new hires who meet the eligibility requirements. Nursing Degree from an approved school of nursing
2-3 Years Of Experience In Emergency Department Nursing
LICENSURE Active Registered Nurse license in good standing with the North Dakota Board of Nursing or Active Registered Nurse license in a compact state
Working knowledge of clinical skills in delivery of patient care
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification within the orientation period and meets re-certification as required
Good communication skills necessary for constant communication, both oral and written, with patients, families, visitors, and medical center staff
Accountable for own conduct and promotes and supports positive working relationships among staff, between other disciplines, departments, families, visitors, and patients
Maintains confidentiality
