About
Conduct comprehensive evaluations for patients in pediatric, adult, and geriatric categories using a blend of standardized assessments and skillful observation. Craft individualized treatment plans addressing both immediate objectives and ongoing communication, cognitive, or swallowing challenges. Deliver targeted speech therapy interventions that encompass speech production, language development, fluency, voice modulation, and swallowing capabilities. Engage collaboratively with physical and occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, caregivers, and families to create an integrated approach to patient care. Empower families through education to ensure enhanced continuity of progress outside clinical hours. Participate in occasional inpatient evaluations and therapy sessions to provide seamless care throughout the healing journey. Maintain precise and timely documentation to fulfill state and federal mandates as well as organizational policies. Remain proactive in professional development through continued education and collaboration with peers. Education
A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution. Completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) is required for those not yet ASHA-certified. Certifications
State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist. Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire. Skills
