Preventive pediatric dentistry Restorative pediatric dentistry Stainless steel crowns Pulpotomies Space maintainers Nitrous oxide sedation Oral sedation In-office IV sedation Special healthcare needs dentistry Infant oral health education Growth and development monitoring Digital imaging and modern technology Sedation & Advanced Care Providers benefit from meaningful exposure to pediatric sedation dentistry. Most sedation cases performed with nitrous oxide Oral sedation available for providers who utilize it Pediatric associates typically participate in 1-2 IV sedation days per month Group-wide, the practice performs approximately 1-3 IV sedation days per week Typical IV sedation day includes 4-8 patients Sedation is performed in-office Third-party medical anesthesia groups administer anesthesia services Some providers maintain privileges at Children's Mercy Hospital, though the practice primarily treats patients in-office
