Conduct assessments for patients spanning the pediatric, adult, and geriatric spectrum using standardized measures and observational methods. Design individualized treatment plans tailored to patients' immediate objectives and long-term communication or swallowing aspirations. Administer personalized speech therapy sessions targeting language, communication, fluency, voice modulation, and swallowing difficulty. Collaborate effectively with physical and occupational therapists, nursing staff, medical professionals, families, and caregivers to forge a unified approach to patient care. Provide essential education to patients and their families to support their journey beyond the clinical environment. Participate in occasional evaluations and interventions for inpatient speech therapy, ensuring a seamless continuity of care during treatment. Maintain precise and timely documentation in alignment with state, federal, and institutional standards. Engage with ongoing advancements in speech-language pathology via professional development and peer networking. Education
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a recognized institution. Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if still working toward ASHA certification. Certifications
State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist. Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required within 30 days of hire. Skills
