What You'll Do
Perform high-quality diagnostic radiology (X-ray) procedures following physician orders and imaging protocols. Maintain imaging productivity while ensuring excellent image quality and patient safety. Monitor and manage radiation dose reference levels and take appropriate action when thresholds are exceeded. Utilize AIDET communication practices to ensure positive patient experiences. Prepare and position patients using proper immobilization devices and exposure techniques. Follow strict radiation safety, infection control, and sterile technique standards. Maintain imaging equipment and exam rooms to meet quality and safety standards. Collaborate with engineers and physicists to ensure optimal equipment performance. Verify patient orders, history, pregnancy screening, and consent documentation. Maintain accurate records in PACS and EMR systems. Assist with inventory management and department workflow improvements.

Qualifications Education Graduate of an Accredited Radiologic Technology Program Experience Less than one year of experience required Hospital or acute-care experience preferred
ARRT (R) – Radiography required Texas Medical Board (MRT) License required Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire
