Prepare and dispense medications by measuring, counting, labeling, and packaging prescriptions under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist Process prescription orders accurately, including entering patient and prescription data into pharmacy systems Assist pharmacists and healthcare providers by gathering necessary information and supporting workflow efficiency Process medication orders from electronic medical records (EMR/EHR) with accuracy and urgency Support medication safety initiatives, including double-checks, labeling, and documentation Collaborate with pharmacists, nurses, and clinical staff to ensure timely and safe medication delivery Comply with hospital policies and regulatory standards, including Joint Commission and state/federal regulations

High School Diploma or GED IL State Pharmacy Technician Licensure in good standing Proficient computer skills including experience using Microsoft Office Able to obtain CPhT within a year of hire
Preferred Qualifications
Registration/Certification (CPhT) as a Pharmacy Technician Hospital experience Recent experience in a hospital or retail pharmacy Effective communications skills; verbal and written
