Operate CT equipment using appropriate kV and mA techniques to produce high-quality diagnostic images. Perform daily quality control calibration checks on all imaging and radiation equipment to ensure optimal functioning. Inject patients with radiopharmaceuticals following physician orders and prescribed protocols. Document all procedures accurately by maintaining logs, manuals, charge records, and reporting equipment issues promptly. Conduct quality control, quality assurance, and safety tests in compliance with radiation safety guidelines and ALARA principles. Manage patient films and electronic data for radiologists' interpretation, ensuring proper file maintenance and retrieval. Qualifications:
Hold a valid New York State License (L.R.T) as a Radiologic Technologist. Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiography and CT. Maintain current BLS certification. Possess at least 1 year of CT scanning experience. Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program. Benefits & Growth:
