ER RN Contract Job Details
Location: Vineland, NJ 08360 (on-site)
Start Date: 03/16/2026
End Date: 05/09/2026
Contract Length: Approximately 7 weeks and 5 days
Schedule: Nights
Shift Duration: 12-hour night shifts
Shifts Per Week: 3 (36 hours/week)
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend or 3 weekends per month (based on department needs)
Holiday Requirement: None
Float Requirement: Must be open to floating to nearby Emergency Departments (Elmer or Bridgeton) as needed
Time Off: Up to 3 days of requested time off considered; no block scheduling/special requests
Estimated Weekly Pay Range: $1,980 - $2,310
Emergency Department RN Requirements
Experience: 3 years of recent Emergency Room (ER) / Emergency Department (ED) RN experience required
Travel Experience: Travel experience required (completed at least one contract assignment)
Education: BSN required
Licensure: Active New Jersey RN license or Compact RN license
Certifications (AHA): BLS, ACLS, PALS
Additional Certification: NIHSS
Certification Validity: Pending certifications or certifications expiring within 30 days of submission are not accepted
Preferred: Experience in high-volume and/or fast-paced ED settings
Key Responsibilities (ER/ED Nursing) Provide ER/ED nursing support in alignment with unit policies, scope of practice, and assigned patient care needs
Float to affiliated Emergency Departments (Elmer or Bridgeton) when operationally required
Orientation & First Week Expectations
Attendance is mandatory: Failure to complete the full orientation may result in immediate termination. Once scheduled, you do not have the option to reschedule any orientation classes.
Virtual welcome (Monday): You will receive an email the Friday before your Monday start with instructions to join a virtual welcome meeting and complete online modules.
Online modules: Assigned modules must be completed by Monday to remain on the orientation roster.
In-person classes (typically Tues-Thurs): Classes may occur at multiple locations; you are responsible for confirming the location via the learning platform on the day of class.
Badge/ID: An in-person appointment is required for your ID badge (photo submissions are not permitted). Badge completion is required for clock-ins.
