Job Title Travel CT Scan Technologist Location Albany, New York Schedule / Job Type Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Monday-Thursday 12:00 PM - 10:30 PM | Projected Start: April 13, 2026 Key Responsibilities
Perform CT scan procedures under the direction of the Medical Director, Section Head, Manager, and Radiologist in a Level I Trauma and Academic Medical Center setting Utilize CT modality to produce high-quality diagnostic images while ensuring patient safety and a positive patient experience Conduct CT exams on outpatients, inpatients (stable and intensive care), research patients, and patients requiring specialized CT scan-guided procedures Support trauma and emergency room scanning in a fast-paced clinical environment Practice and enforce radiation safety measures in accordance with New York State Department of Health code part 16 Support teaching initiatives and engage in continued learning as imaging technology evolves Required Qualifications
Graduate of an approved two-year AMA Radiologic Technology program New York State Registration in Diagnostic Radiography or a valid limited permit to practice in New York State Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Current BLS for Healthcare Provider, CPR, or CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer certification Minimum of 2 years of CT Technologist experience Preferred Experience / Skills
Prior experience in a Level I Trauma or academic medical center environment Familiarity with CT scan-guided procedures and research patient protocols Experience scanning intensive care or complex inpatient populations Why Join Us
