Orthodontic Dental Assistant

Deerwood Orthodontics is hiring a part-time dental assistant to support our Glendale (Bayshore Ctr) team. We're looking for someone who is reliable, flexible, and moves with urgency in a fast-paced environment. Candidate must be open to traveling to nearby locations to help cover shifts as needed. Schedule: Wed & Thurs 7:30am5:00pm | Fri 7:30am4:00pm Pay: $20.00$25.00/hr (based on experience) Software: Ortho Edge 2 experience is a plus Important: This is a part-time role and does not include PTO or medical benefits.

Deerwood Orthodontics - Glendale - Bayshore Ctr, like each Heartland Dental supported office, is unique to the community and the patients they serve.

• Working knowledge of dental procedures and terminology Experience working in a patient- or customer-centered environment
• If required under the state dental practice act, dental assistant certification and/or x-ray certification Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Completion of Tuberculosis (TB) testing prior to starting employment

• Dentrix or other dental software experience
• Dental assisting school certification
