About Your New Job As Operations Manager (Principal Officer), you will: Lead and develop multiple operational teams to deliver high-quality mediation and injury assessment services promptly and impartially, supporting up to 20,000 claims per year. Drive strategic and operational initiatives, foster a culture of excellence, ensure regulatory compliance, and champion service innovations across a dynamic and evolving organisation. Oversee the full claims lifecycleensuring assessments and mediation are conducted with integrity, fairness and in strict adherence to the law and guidelines. Act as Operations lead for data analytics and business intelligence, translating raw data into actionable improvements in process, customer experience, and outcomes. Engage with diverse stakeholders, representing the Board at events, in the media, and with government departments, building public confidence. What Skills You Need Essential Skills Experienced senior leader with strong operational management experience in a regulated or public sector environment. Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and manage teams to achieve challenging targets. Strong organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills. Expertise in performance management, resource allocation, and stakeholder engagement. Ability to analyse complex data and assimilate, interpret and manage complex information to reach fair, reasoned, and evidence-based conclusions. Digitally literate, with proven ability in data-driven analytics to enhance operations. Decision-making experience in administrative justice, regulatory, injury assessment or quasi-judicial settings. Recognised third-level qualification (minimum NFQ Level 8) or 10 years management experience leading diverse teams. Desirable Skills 10 years experience in administrative justice, regulatory, injury assessment or similar settings. Comprehensive understanding of personal injury systems, legislation, awards, and claims management. Experience contributing to public policy development or implementation in a public sector context. Proficiency in Power BI or Tableau for data analysis. What's on Offer Competitive salary: €107,081+, with annual increments (Principal Officer scale, public sector).
