Accounting Manager / Assistant Manager Are you a Qualified Accountant looking to step into a leadership role within a firm that values work-life balance as much as professional excellence? We are partnering with a well-established, medium-sized accounting practice in Cork, known for diverse client base and supportive team culture. Key Responsibilities Oversee a diverse portfolio of clients, ensuring all statutory deadlines for audit and non-audit assignments are met. Prepare and review financial statements, management accounts, and tax computations (Corporation Tax, VAT, RCT). Supervise, mentor, and review the work of junior staff and trainees, fostering their professional development. Assist partners with high-level advisory projects, including financial due diligence, valuations, and corporate restructuring. Manage staff allocations and department productivity to ensure efficient engagement delivery. About You Qualified Accountant (ACA / ACCA / CPA) with at least 3-5 years' post-qualification experience. Experience in a Irish accountancy practice essential. Strong technical and people management skills. Excellent communication, organisation, and attention to detail.
