Job Description We are hiring a Robotic Automation Advisor to design and help launch our first fully automated validation lab from stage zero.
Drug development — organ-on-chip, engineered human tissue, multi-organ systems
Battery materials — lithium-ion and next-gen chemistries for EV/BESS
Perovskite solar panels — multi-tandem devices and thin-film optimization
Responsibilities
Architect a fully autonomous robotic laboratory from concept to build plan
Define robotics, automation stack, instrumentation, and safety framework
Evaluate and select lab automation vendors and integration partners
Design closed-loop integration between simulation software and physical experiments
Ensure scalability, reproducibility, uptime, and minimal human oversight
Required Skills
Proven experience building a robotic automation lab from stage zero
Experience designing self-driving or closed-loop experimentation systems
Experience selecting and managing robotics / lab automation vendors
Strong systems engineering across hardware and software integration
Experience designing for regulatory-grade traceability and data provenance
Domain expertise required in at least two: organ-on-chip/organoids; battery materials/electrochemistry; perovskite or thin-film PV validation
