Collaborate with cross‑functional teams—including clinical SMEs, informaticists, business analysts, and stakeholders—to optimize clinical systems and workflows. Communicate value‑driven recommendations and align priorities across the VA Enterprise. Lead requirements gathering, process mapping, and gap analysis to accurately translate and document clinical and business needs into comprehensive technical specifications and functional criteria. Design, build, validate, and implement Oracle Health Millennium solutions using build tools (DCP Tools, Core Event Manager, Discern Dev, Dyn Doc Management), focusing on clinical documentation, order sets, and clinical decision support. Support product owners in executing development projects, including EHR decision tools, workflow improvements, and service line agreements. Analyze clinical data trends and performance metrics with data analysts to identify opportunities for process standardization, improved care quality, reduced provider burden, and enhanced data integration. Troubleshoot customer‑reported issues through technical analysis, document findings, recommend solutions, and, when necessary, elevate to ensure prompt resolutions. Qualifications
Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in the healthcare industry possessing a comprehensive understanding of healthcare workflows, data standards, and common healthcare software systems. Proven experience in deploying IT solutions across large‑scale healthcare environments. Minimum 8 years of relevant experience implementing, configuring, and testing Oracle Health (Cerner) systems, with the capability to deliver end‑user training and post‑implementation support. Expertise in SQL and database query languages for clinical data analysis and reporting. Experience integrating Oracle EHR with third‑party healthcare systems and identifying potential integration risks. Skilled in defining performance metrics and using analytics platforms to assess solution effectiveness and clinical trends. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft tools (Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint) and reporting platforms. Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills with the ability to communicate technical concepts to diverse audiences. Demonstrates experience in leading and delivering large‑scale IT projects within a matrixed, project‑based environment while managing multiple stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in an Agile environment. Clearance
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance. US Citizen. Location
