We are seeking a skilled and experienced full-time Event Production & Sales Manager to manage the entire Live Event life cycle for our rental division, including sourcing new live event opportunities, submitting bids and/or negotiating competitive & profitable pricing to overseeing all aspects of the event to provide seamless client experience.
The ideal candidate thrives in dynamic environments, can interpret technical riders and floor plans, and ensures that all production components are executed safely, efficiently, and to the highest professional standard.
What Will Your Day Look Like?
You will:
Oversees the Rental & Live Event department.
This includes
Sourcing new and maintaining existing live event opportunities
Negotiating competitive but profitable pricing and terms for all events and executing timely contracts for services
Timely communication with accounting for invoice generation.
When needed, assists in securing timely payments from clients.
Oversees each event to provide seamless client experience including:
Setup, operation, and breakdown of audio, video, lighting (AVL), staging, and rigging systems.
Work closely with producers, venue staff, and clients to execute production needs and translate event requirements into technical solutions.
Coordinate and supervise technical crews and freelance teams, ensuring timely and accurate setup.
Conduct site assessments, recommend equipment and layouts based on space and event design.
Manage equipment logistics, including loading/unloading, transportation, and inventory tracking.
Troubleshoot real-time technical issues to ensure show quality and safety.
Ensure all work meets safety standards and adheres to local regulations and venue guidelines.
Collaborate with internal departments to advance shows, confirm specs, and finalize production plans.
Maintain and ensure the quality and readiness of all production gear

What Experience/Skills Do You Need?
Sales experience in the live event or similar environment preferred
2+ years of experience in live event production, with a strong background in audio, video, lighting, and staging. This includes proficiency in operating and troubleshooting mixing consoles, projectors, LED walls, lighting consoles, wireless systems, comms, etc.
Relevant education/certifications and/or other equivalent work experience may be considered.
Prior experience working effectively as a team leader and directing the work of others
Ability to read and interpret tech riders, CAD drawings, floor plans, and signal flow diagrams.
Familiar with power distribution, rigging safety, general event logistics, and workplace safety requirements.
Ability to quickly process information and meet deadlines
Possess strong organizational & prioritization skills.
Must be able to work overtime, evenings, weekends, and local travel as needed.
What is the work environment like?
This position requires the ability to regularly stand, walk, bend, stoop, use hands and fingers, reach and push with hands and arms.
Frequently required to sit, climb, and balance.
Work requires the ability to perform job duties on scaffolding, ladders, and at various heights as well as extensive overhead motion required to install equipment. Work requires the ability to lift and move objects weighing up to fifty (50) pounds on a daily basis.
Will work in non-traditional venues (tents, raw spaces, outdoor locations, etc.).
Will periodically work in non-climate-controlled environments.
