**Job Description:**
A vacancy for a* System Design Responsible in Mission Management System / Digital Map* (M/F) has arisen within Airbus Helicopters in Marignane.
*Mission*
You will join a team of 65+ engineers in the Situational Awareness and Mission Management department in charge of terrain/weather/threats/traffic awareness functions, vision enhancement and
targeting systems, data-links as well as mission management systems for all Airbus (e-)VTOLs.
Your mission will consist of supporting system engineering activities and helicopter level integration of mission management systems interfaced with many contributor systems for civil & military helicopters with a focus on Super Puma.
A vacancy for a *Embedded Software Engineer (m/f)* has arisen within Airbus Helicopters in Marignane.
Airbus Helicopters’ Civil Software Products department is responsible for the development and integration of embedded software, implementing safety critical functionalities.
The department is involved in the development of in-house solutions and is supporting the development of products developed by other internal entities or external suppliers, ensuring that the development processes follow the applicable guidelines (eg ED-12/DO-178) for civil certification.
In order to ensure this mission, we are looking for an embedded software developer for avionic's activities

*Tasks & Responsibilities*
Your main responsibilities will include:
* Technical responsible for Mission Management Systems / Digital Map integration
* Requirements engineering
* Ensure planning at equipment and helicopter level for development and qualification
* Assess suppliers’ offers with other stakeholders
* Interface with project management, purchasing, sales department and other project stakeholders throughout the organization
* Interface with / management of suppliers and customers
* Manage suppliers during development phase
* Support rig, ground and flight testing of the equipment
* Ensure the qualification / certification of equipment and the according functions
* Apply of agile development methodology
* Participate in offer management and contributing to product sourcing policy
* Benchmark our solutions with state-of-the-art Mission Management Systems / Digital Map ones
* Actively contribute to definition and execution of research and technology (R&T) activities and mission systems product strategy
* Supporting knowledge exchange within Airbus (all divisions)
*Required qualifications*
You have the following skills and experience:
* Academic studies in the field of Physics, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or similar
* Comprehensive experience in the design, development, engineering and/or integration of mission management systems for aircraft
* Knowledge in systems engineering, requirements engineering and integration in the field of avionics
* Knowledge or previous experience of mission management system would be advantage
* A previous experience with agile methodology (Scrum, SAFe) is beneficial
* Experience in Supplier Management
* Team Spirit, good communication skills and experience in stakeholder management
* Language skills: English business fluent / negotiation level, knowledge of German, French or Spanish is an advantage
