This position offers a remarkable chance to impact a diverse population, engaging in a unique blend of outpatient therapy while occasionally stepping into inpatient care. Whether your passion lies in pediatric language acquisition, neurogenic communication disorders in adults, or rehabilitative strategies for geriatric clients, this is the perfect environment to adapt and thrive. Position Responsibilities
Conduct assessments for pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations by employing both standardized evaluation and observational methods. Craft individualized treatment plans tailored to meet both immediate goals and long-term communicative, cognitive, or swallowing challenges. Deliver focused, one-on-one speech therapy aimed at enhancing communication skills, fluency, voice production, and swallowing functions. Work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team of professionals, including physical and occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, and family members, to establish comprehensive care protocols. Provide education to patients and their families to facilitate progress beyond clinic walls. Engage in occasional inpatient evaluations and interventions, ensuring integrated care throughout the entire therapeutic process. Keep up-to-date documentation and records in compliance with state regulations and organizational policies. Pursue ongoing professional development through continuing education and team interactions. Qualifications
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution. Must have completed a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) unless already ASHA-certified. Certifications & Licenses
State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist is essential. Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days from the start date. Essential Skills
Expertise in evidence-based treatment methods for individuals of varying ages, showcasing comprehensive knowledge of developmental and acquired speech, language, and swallowing disorders. Exceptional interpersonal skills for effective communication with patients, families, and healthcare colleagues. Ability to tailor therapeutic approaches to accommodate a variety of cultural and linguistic backgrounds. Strong critical thinking and clinical reasoning skills. Proficiency in electronic documentation systems and compliance with documentation standards. Benefits We Offer
Attractive salary packages that reflect your expertise and background. Flexible schedules designed to promote work-life harmony and cater to diverse patient needs. Paths for specialization in specific areas such as pediatrics, adult neuro rehabilitation, or geriatrics. Paid time off (PTO) along with holiday leave options. Options for medical, dental, vision, and life insurance coverage. Support for continuing education costs and opportunities for professional growth. A team-oriented culture emphasizing collaboration and a commitment to quality patient care as well as lifelong learning.
A Journey That Cultivates Growth - Personally and Professionally Your role is not just about delivering speech therapy; it's about becoming part of a purpose-driven community that enhances voices, fosters understanding, and celebrates the profound human connection through communication. Each day presents opportunities for you to engage with a team that values collaboration and the powerful stories of their patients. Here, you'll collaborate with colleagues who support one another as if they were family, nurturing an environment that prioritizes teamwork over competition. Every single patient has a narrative waiting to unfold; you will play an essential role in narrating that with compassion and expertise.
