Conduct comprehensive evaluations for patients of all ages utilizing standardized assessments and observation techniques. Craft personalized treatment plans targeting immediate and long-term communication, cognitive, or swallowing goals. Deliver focused one-on-one speech therapy addressing vital aspects such as communication, language, fluency, voice, and swallowing. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of therapists, nurses, physicians, caregivers, and families to create effective care strategies. Educate patients and their families to encourage progress outside of scheduled therapy sessions. Partake in occasional inpatient evaluations and interventions, ensuring seamless continuity of care along the treatment journey. Maintain precise and timely documentation in compliance with state and federal guidelines. Stay abreast of the latest advancements in the field through ongoing education and professional collaboration. Education
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution. Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not yet ASHA-certified. Certifications
State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist. ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of start date. Skills
